The UK is ready to support the recovery of the Darfur region of Sudan, the Prime Minister said tonight as he urged all parties to participate in the peace talks taking place in Libya.

At 3 o' clock this afternoon Aberdeen Coastguard were informed there was a man in the water at Portlethen after his friend rang 999 and asked for the Police, who passed the call onto the Coastguard.
