- New Post Funded by the Diocese of Lincoln and English Heritage –

The Diocese of Lincoln has appointed a new Historic Churches Support Officer to work with staff and volunteers caring for listed places of worship in Lincolnshire. The post is part-funded by English Heritage under its national Support Officer scheme and will provide vital aid to the congregations looking after Lincolnshire’s 600 historic churches. Matthew Cooper, a specialist in medieval gothic church architecture, started in the role last week.
