Government fund helps nearly 7,000 across yorkshire tackle redundancy with skills training and careers guidance

Issued by the News Distribution Service on behalf of the Skills Funding Agency. Nearly 7,000 people across Yorkshire and the Humber are being helped to tackle redundancy with skills training and careers guidance thanks to a £14.5 million government fund. Some 200 firms hit by the recession are also benefiting from expert advice as part of the ‘Response to Redundancy’ package.
