The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP, has appointed Mary Ferguson Connal to be a Salaried Part-time Judge of the First-tier Tribunal of the Social Entitlement Chamber (Social Security and Child Support) and Isabel Rennie Montgomery to be a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal of the Social Entitlement Chamber (Social Security and Child Support), both with effect from 1 January 2010.

Mrs Connal will be assigned to the Scotland Region and based in Glasgow, working on a 70% pro rata basis and Mrs Montgomery will be assigned to the Scotland Region and based in Edinburgh.
