Proposals on the future of Community Health Councils in Wales (The Welsh Assembly Government)

This consultation started on 30th January 2009 and ends on 24th April 2009.

In line with that commitment, the Minister for Health and Social Services hasissued this Consultation Paper.

This Consultation Paper provides details on the:

Dissolution of the existing19 Community Health Councils (CHCs) in Wales;Establishment of seven new CHCs with23 underpinning Area Associations;Functions, structure and membership of the sevennew CHCs;Functions, structure and membership of the Board of Community Health Councils in Wales.How to respond
