HM The Queen has appointed John Lester Hand QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP. The Lord Chief Justice, Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers, has assigned him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Snaresbrook Crown Court with effect from Monday 14 April 2008.
