The Government laid proposals before Parliament today which will amend the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and the Agriculture Tenancies Act 1995 in order to provide a more flexible framework for agricultural lettings. The amendments will also remove some of the barriers to tenant farmer participation in diversification activities.
