The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown, today announced a £6 million grant to the Government of Pakistan as part of the UK's assistance in the battle against the illegal international drugs trade. The Pakistan Anti Narcotics Force (ANF), who will receive this money, are the UK's key counter narcotics partner in Pakistan, seizing 59 tons of opiates in the last two years.
