Local authority sponsorship of the Government Connect programme is to migrate from Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council to the North West e-Government Group, under the sponsorship of Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, Minister for Local e-Gov Jim Fitzpatrick announced today.
