Updated: The form and guidance notes for Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) for lorries or goods vehicles have been updated due to changes to the Road Vehicles (Plating and Testing) Regulations 1988 which came into force on 1 October 2017.

This form is used to apply for IVA for lorries and goods vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of over 3,500kg.

All these kinds of vehicles need to be approved to make sure they meet certain safety and environmental standards.
