This release provides headline experimental statistics on the use of the apprenticeship service. These include apprenticeship service account registrations (ASAs) and numbers of commitments where an apprentice who is expected to go on to start has been recorded in the system.
Guidance about these changes and paying the apprenticeship levy is available. For more further education (FE) statistics, refer to the FE and skills statistical first release (SFR) and the FE data library.
We may adjust the content and timing of these statistics based on user feedback and data reporting.
The annex ‘proposed changes to further education, skills and apprenticeship statistics’ sets out the changes we will make from January 2018. Please contact the team to give feedback.
