The Minister for Africa at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Lord David Triesman, today expressed sadness following the deaths of 8 Guatemalan members of the UN peacekeeping force (MONUC) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), killed in fighting in the Garamba National Park, north eastern DRC on 23 January.
