Agriculture Ministers have reappointed five members, Oliver Dowding, Brian Kaye, David Peace, Julian Wade, Jeffrey Vergerson of the Advisory Committee on Organic Standards for a further year and two members, Roger Hitchings and Susanna Lewis for a further two years. Three members have for personal reasons resigned or made clear that they do not wish to be considered for reappointment. As a temporary measure and until a fuller appointments process is complete in 2006 two co-opted members will be sought to assist the Committee.
