Statistical data set: Commodity prices

Updated: Updated weekly banana prices.

Prices for selected agricultural and horticultural produce are published on a weekly or monthly basis in the following spreadsheets. The data source depends on the item but includes prices taken from trade journals or other organisations in addition to prices collected by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

Changes to the Eggs and Poultry (wholesale) prices from April 2014. Minor amendments have been made to the categories of data collected. Most noticeable is that frozen chicken now reports imported prices rather than home-grown.
