Richard Andrew Gordon, a bankrupt, already subject to a Bankruptcy Restrictions Order (BRO), has been sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court to 15 months imprisonment after pleading guilty to one count of attempting to account with fictitious expenses and two counts of failing to provide a satisfactory explanation for a loss. Mr Gordon’s conviction follows an initial investigation by The Insolvency Service and a full criminal investigation and prosecution by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
