REMINDER A12 BASCULE BRIDGE MAINTENANCE WORK Essential maintenance work will continue on the A12 Bascule Bridge over Lake Lowthing in Lowestoft. The bridge will be closed for four nights from 8pm until 6am starting on Sunday 25 September. Advanced signing and a signed diversion route will be in place during the work. A free bus service round the diversion route will be provided for pedestrians wishing to cross the bridge when it is closed.

NEW WORK A5 MILTON KEYNES OVERNIGHT CLOSURES FOR CARRIAGEWAY REPAIRS Overnight work to repair the road surface and renew road studs and markings will start on Monday 26 September on the A5 in Milton Keynes. The work will be carried out between 9pm and 6am. The work will affect the road between Abbey Hill (A422/A5) roundabout and Kelly's Kitchen Roundabout (A4146). There will be a clearly signed diversion in place: southbound traffic will be diverted off the A5 onto the A422 to Grafton Street. Traffic will continue on Grafton Street to join Bletcham Way to Denbigh roundabout and join Watling Street to re-join the A5 at Kelly's Kitchen.

A11 OVERNIGHT CLOSURES AT WYMONDHAM Work to surface treat sections of the A11 near Wymondham will start on Saturday 1 October until Thursday 13 October for ten nights (Saturday 1 - Friday 7 October) and Monday 10 - Thursday 13 October. Work will take place between 8pm and 6am. The A11 northbound will be closed overnight from Saturday 1 October until Wednesday 5 October between the Spooner Row Interchange exit slip road and the Tuttles Lane Interchange entry slip road. Entry to the A11 northbound from A11/B1135 Browick Road Interchange will not be permitted when work takes place. The diversion for northbound traffic will be from the Spooner Row Interchange exit slip road signed via the B1172 London Road, B1172 Harts Road, B1172 Harts Farm Road and rejoin the A11 at the Tuttles Lane entry slip road.

The A11 southbound will be closed overnight from Thursday 6 October until 6am on Thursday 13 October between the Tuttles Lane Interchange and Spooner Row Interchange. Southbound traffic will leave the A11 at Tuttles Lane Interchange exit slip road and follow the reverse of the diversion detailed above.

As the slip roads at Tuttles Lane Interchange form part of the diversion route these will only be closed for repair works when the A11 mainline is open. Whilst these slip roads are closed local traffic will be diverted to use the A11/B1135 Browick Road Interchange to access the A11.
