A1, Blaydon Bridge, Newcastle Gateshead Western Bypass, Tyne & Wear Slight delays are expected overnight on the A1at Blaydon Bridge for maintenance works. There will be a carriageway closure with diversion in place north or southbound from 8pm to 6am. The works will take place southbound 24 September to 5 October and northbound 5 – 17 October.
