The Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) (external link) will be launching a selection exercise later this month to recruit one Chancery Master.
The Chancery Division is part of the Business and Property Courts of England and Wales based at the Rolls Building in London.
Pre-application seminarThe Judicial Office is organising a hybrid pre-application seminar that will take place in-person and online (via Microsoft Teams) on Thursday 16 April 2026 from 5pm to 6pm.
The in-person attendees will be expected to attend at the Rolls Building, Royal Courts of Justice, Fetter Lane, London, EC4A 1NL. Further details will be provided after registration.
The seminar aims to help applicants be better prepared to make an application and to receive up-to-date guidance and advice on the JAC’s selection process. As well as the JAC, you will also hear from the Chancellor, a Chief Master and current Master.
