On 29 January I made a written statement on the Job Guarantee. There was a minor error in the statement. The statement said “I would also like to thank the over 60 employers who have already committed to providing jobs for participants of the scheme, including EON, JD Sports, Tesco and TUI. Once delivery partners are in place, they will work with employers to help secure these employment opportunities, with support from DWP for those large employers with a national footprint.”

It should have said “I would also like to thank the over 60 employers who have already expressed an interest in providing jobs for participants of the scheme, including EON, JD Sports, Tesco and TUI. Once delivery partners are in place, they will work with employers to help secure these employment opportunities, with support from DWP for those large employers with a national footprint.”
