The Highways Agency is advising drivers that two lanes are now open in both directions on the M25 following yesterday's collision between a lorry and a car between Junctions 7 for the M23 and 8 for Reigate. The access slip road at Junction 7 has also been re-opened. The motorway was closed between Junctions 7 and 8 after a serious collision shortly after 4pm yesterday. The collision resulted in substantial damage to the carriageway, an overhead gantry on the anti-clockwise carriageway which had to be removed and the central reservation barrier which had to be repaired.
