This consultation started on 9th January 2009 and ends on 20th February 2009.

This document explains the Assembly Government’s policy on climate change and expands on the One Wales commitments. It sets out the challenge we face, our targets and the areas where we intend to focus action.

We will consult on a programme of specific actions on climate change in spring 2009.

This consultation is open for six weeks only. This is because this is an initial consultation on the high level climate change policy framework. We will hold a 12 week consultation on detailed proposals for action on climate change in Spring 2009.
