HM The Queen has appointed Patrick Anthony Thomas QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP. The Lord Chief Justice, Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers, has assigned him to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Crown Court with effect from Thursday 17 July 2008.
