We'll be attending this year's Local Government Association's rural conference, at the Riviera International Conference Centre in Torquay

The event will consider the rural perspective on some of the matters being debated across local government, ranging from developing the role of frontline councillors to responding to climate change and creating more affordable housing. It will also look at particular concerns for rural areas and consider how councils can best address them working with local organisations and local people.

Alison McLean, one of our Commissioners, will speaking at the event.
