International development minister Gareth Thomas today announced £10 million to support flood-affected people in Bangladesh. The funds, available to organisations involved in relief work, will be channelled through the World Food Programme (WFP) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). WFP will co-ordinate funds for food assistance and UNDP for non-food assistance.
