The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education would like to invite everyone who cares about the future of digital apprenticeships to a series of webinars.
We are ready to unveil the planned content for six updated apprenticeships, which are all at level four. These have emerged from our wider route review into the future of apprenticeships across the digital sector.
The webinars will take place on:
Apprenticeship Date Time Network engineer 9 July 11am to 12pm Business analyst 9 July 2pm to 3pm (TBC) Cyber security engineer 16 July 9.30am to 10.30am Software developer 20 July 9.30am to 10.30am Software tester 20 July 11am to 12pm Data analyst 20 July 2pm to 3pmThe revised apprenticeships will not be formally published until a later date once funding levels have been approved.
However, this is an opportunity to learn about their content and listen to the trailblazer groups of employers, who led with designing them, explain any changes they have made.
The employers have worked tremendously hard to deliver substantial improvements and are keen to share that detail with the wider sector, whether it be employers, training providers or end-point assessment organisations.
After the webinars, each planned apprenticeship will be published on a separate page on the Institute’s website as “preview” content, until funding has been allocated and a launch date agreed in discussion with the trailblazer groups.
The current versions of all the apprenticeships will continue to be available to employers and apprentices in the meantime.
