Guidance: Guidance for publishing spend over £25,000

Updated: Updated guidance published

The government has set out the need for greater transparency to enable the public to hold public bodies and politicians to account.

This includes commitments relating to public expenditure, intended to help reduce the deficit and achieve better value for money.

This document offers guidance for government departments when publishing details of spending over £25,000. It is accompanied by guidance for arms’ length bodies.
