Official Statistics: Police recorded crime and outcomes open data tables

Updated: Added 'Rape incidents and crime data year ending March 2017' and 'Outcomes open data April to June 2017', updated 'Police recorded crime open data Police Force Area tables from year ending March 2013 onwards', 'Police recorded crime open data Community Safety Partnership tables from year ending March 2012 onwards', 'Outcomes open data year ending March 2017', 'Outcomes open data year ending March 2016', 'Transferred or cancelled crime open data year ending March 2016 to year ending March 2017' and 'Knife crime open data year ending March 2009 onwards'.

The data tables contain figures for:

Police recorded crime Crime outcomes Transferred/cancelled records (formerly ‘no-crimes’) Knife crime Hate crime Fraud crime Rape incidents crime

There are counting rules for recorded crime to help to ensure that crimes are recorded consistently and accurately.
