Adrian Gault has been appointed to lead the secretariat of the Committee on Climate Change (CCC) as interim Chief Executive, whilst a process is undertaken to appoint a new Chief Executive later this year.

Adrian takes up the position following the departure of the Committee’s former Chief Executive, Matthew Bell, after three years in the role.

Adrian has served as the CCC’s Chief Economist since 2009 and also served as the CCC’s interim Chief Executive in 2014.
