Summary of the epidemiology of laboratory-confirmed symptomatic cases of Salmonella Typhi (typhoid) and S. Paratyphi (paratyphoid) reported in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
It includes both reference laboratory and enhanced enteric fever surveillance data. More recent provisional data are available on a quarterly basis in the Health Protection Report.
