Press release: Planned road works in West Midlands: weekly summary for Monday 25th July to Sunday 31st July 2016

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 21st July 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

A38 Streethay Slip Road, West Midlands: carriageway improvement

The slip roads will be closed for 24 hours a day from Sunday 24 July for 7 days. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 Alrewas to Cappers Lane, West Midlands: sign inspection

The southbound carriageway including all associated slip roads will be closed overnight, between 8.30pm and 6am, from Monday 25 July for 5 nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38 Cappers Lane to Alrewas, West Midlands: sign inspection

The northbound carriageway including all associated slip roads will be closed overnight, between 8.30pm and 6am, from Monday 25 July for 5 nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A38M – M6 Links from Out of City A3M, West Midlands: carriageway improvement

The Links from Out of City A38M will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 25th July until 31st July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A458 Middletown to Wollaston, West Midlands: resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions, between 9pm and 7am, from Monday 25 July for 5 nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A46 Warwick Bypass, West Midlands: resurfacing

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight, between 7pm and 6am, from Monday 25 July for 5 nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A45 Stonebridge Highway, West Midlands: carriageway improvement

The westbound carriageway between Stivichall Junction and Tollbar Roundabout will be closed overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from Monday 25 July for 5 nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A49 Llandinabo to Wormlow – Marsh Lane to Tump Lane, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight, between 9pm and 6am from Monday 25 July for 5 nights. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

A49 between A49/A489 Grove Junction and A49/B4370 Marshbrook Junction, West Midlands: pavement renewals

The southbound carriageway between junctions 4a and 5 including the junction 5 southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from Monday 25 July for 5 nights and on Sunday 31 July.

The northbound carriageway between junctions 5 and 4a including the northbound entry slip road at junction 5 will be closed overnight, between 8pm and 6am, on Wednesday 27 July.
