Press release: Foreign Office Minister statement on Kabul attack

Minister Sharma said:

I condemn in the strongest terms the appalling attacks on peaceful protestors in Kabul, which have killed dozens of civilians and injured several hundred more. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of all those tragically killed and injured.

The UK remains steadfast and resolute in our long-term commitment to the Afghan people. We will continue to work with the Government of Afghanistan to help build a more stable and secure Afghanistan.
