Guidance: UK Guarantees scheme key documents

Updated: UK Guarantees scheme will be extended to March 2021

UK Guarantees is a government scheme designed to kickstart crucial infrastructure projects.

Government support will take the form of an unconditional and irrevocable financial guarantee (the UK Guarantee) of scheduled principal and interest in favour of a lender to a UK infrastructure project. At Spending Review and Autumn Statement 2015, the Chancellor announced that availability of the UK Guarantees scheme will be extended to March 2021.
