This statutory guidance, issued under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, explains how contracting authorities must have regard to this guidance in relation to the payment of valid and undisputed invoices within 30 days. The guidance came into effect from 26 February 2015.

The guidance supports reforms to make public procurement more accessible to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
