Statistical data set: Commodity prices

Updated: Weekly bananas and cereal wholesale prices updated.

Prices for selected agricultural and horticultural produce are published on a weekly or monthly basis in the following spreadsheets. The data source depends on the item but includes prices taken from trade journals or other organisations in addition to prices collected by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

Changes to the GB pig price from October 2014. The last DAPP price was issued week commencing 27 Setpember 2014. From October the GP All pig price (APP) will replace the DAPP price. As the APP runs one week behind the DAPP, this price will be included in the next publication on 16 October 2014 and include prices from launch date in April 2014.

Changes to the Eggs and Poultry (wholesale) prices from April 2014, frozen chicken reported is imported prices rather than home-grown.
